Go to the page https://www.royalkitesurfschool.be/reservations/ and create a profile, which will give you access to the availability of instructors on the online BOOKING SYSTEM. Choose the date, time, type of course and teacher with your preferred language. Secure your place in the schedule by paying a deposit of 60 €. You will receive a confirmation email, a reminder 3 days before and an email / sms the day before your lesson with your final schedule and all useful information related to your lesson.
The kitesurfing course is of 4 levels which you can follow on minimum 2, maximum 4 days. We advise you to follow levels 1 and 2 on the same day and levels 3 and 4 in 2 different days so as not to tire you too much.

When the wind is too weak (less than 12 knots) or too strong (more than 27 knots), kitesurfing lessons will be canceled.
It is also possible that the wind direction is not good, so we suggest other spots in the region (Netherlands).
Kitesurfing is considered a risky sport in that it presents potential dangers.
But as for diving, paragliding or driving a car, once the safety procedures have been learned,
it is practiced without any worries.
So no worries, only rigor and caution.
YES! The price of the lessons includes all necessary equipment. Just bring a towel, clothing according to the weather, sunglasses and sunscreen.
No, you do not have to be strong for kite surfing. The power of the kite ends on your harness. It’s like riding a bike. There is no force on your arms.
Although easy to access, kitesurfing requires specific knowledge that you will be taught correctly
in an accredited school and an IKO certified instructor.
This is the only way to start kiting.
The physical condition and knowing how to swim is taken into account rather than the weight, but nevertheless a minimum weight of 40 kg is necessary, we can start between 12 and 14 years depending on the morphology.
The school is located on the concession of the RBSC Royal Belgium Sailing Club, one of the coolest beach clubs on the Belgian coast with a beach bar / restaurant.
The club also has changing rooms, showers, and hoses to rinse your equipment.
We have a few different packages for lessons: Private or group lessons and à la carte.

The speed in which you can learn to kitesurf varies by student but on average our students are up and riding solo after 3-4 lessons. Private lessons last 2 hours and group lessons are 2.5 hours (2 students maximum). You only need one lesson to discover this wonderful sport!
Although kitesurfing is an intensive sport, people of all physical levels can do it. We do however recommend that our students follow our course. Step 1 and Step 2 can be completed in one day. Step 3 and Step 4 must be completed in 2 days.
We do not sell kitesurfing equipment. However, we work in collaboration with the BILLYKITE Kitesurf shop, located in Brussels. This store will provide you with quality advice, service and equipment tailored to your needs.
