Kitesurfing is considered a risky sport in that it presents potential dangers.
But as for diving, paragliding or driving a car, once the safety procedures have been learned,
it is practiced without any worries.
So no worries, only rigor and caution.
No, you do not have to be strong for kite surfing. The power of the kite ends on your harness. It’s like riding a bike. There is no force on your arms.
Although easy to access, kitesurfing requires specific knowledge that you will be taught correctly
in an accredited school and an IKO certified instructor.
This is the only way to start kiting.
The kitesurfing course is of 4 levels which you can follow on minimum 2, maximum 4 days. We advise you to follow levels 1 and 2 on the same day and levels 3 and 4 in 2 different days so as not to tire you too much.
The physical condition and knowing how to swim is taken into account rather than the weight, but nevertheless a minimum weight of 40 kg is necessary, we can start between 12 and 14 years depending on the morphology.
When the wind is too weak (less than 12 knots) or too strong (more than 27 knots), kitesurfing lessons will be canceled.
It is also possible that the wind direction is not good, so we suggest other spots in the region (Netherlands).
